Hi. It's Nick Jonas' 17th birthday \o/. Spencer and Brendon took pictures being retardedly in love. Then Shane twittered a picture of Brendon Urie and Adam Brody standing next to each other. It's been a pretty good day, internet-wise.

People should talk to me about Disney kids. JoBros or David Henrie who is my other favorite this week. Or Demi. Or Selena. Or Easy Academy as I am still not over Sunday's installment even a little bit and have taken to reading it every night before bed because I am a stalker freak.

Nix finally has AIM, so hit me up at purestarwater6 or comment or e-mail (bluestargirl at gmail dot com) and we will talk about adorable children. Since citibyrd and I have already covered today's Brendon/Spencer(/Adam Brody) developments via e-mail chain.

Let's talk about things that have happened in the last 24 hours that are ridiculous and amazing.

I did not know how hard I ship Nick Jonas/David Henrie until I saw it, and, whoo boy I ship them hard. WOW.

And then Ryan Ross twittered and my reaction screech was something terrible to behold. (Uh, no, it was. Ask citibyrd. She even had her headphones on and was alarmed).

But, it's been a good week for other reasons as well. This morning we (me and citibyrd, that is) went and picked raspberries with some of my friends after having pizza and playing Apples to Apples with them until midnight last night. Thursday night we were supposed to go to the taping of a pilot but that fell through so we ended up watching the sun set from Santa Monica beach and then played on the pier and rode the Ferris Wheel. Wednesday we just hung around because we were super tired after the Green Day show on Tuesday, and Monday evening she got here and there was glee and fangirliness.

So, happy. Even though I could really use a full night's sleep.

Whew! That was kind of a lot of work. So I will save my music pimping for not right now.

God Brendon and Spencer are pretty. Thanks for leaking the pics out paaaainfully slowly there, Shane. (I do not even know if I am being sarcastic or not!) Spencer's jacket kind of bothers me because I keep thinking the white piping is headphone cords or he is wearing a hoodie, but, whatever, he is pretty to me now too.

I don't know what to do with AK shenanigans but a lot of !!!!!!

How is everyone on Decaydance so awesome. (Lately I have been feeling sad for Jon and Ryan, because, wow are they missing out. Sucks to be them.)

Disney (by which I usually actually mostly mean Jonas Brothers, but tonight I mean a bunch of people):
I am having some unpopular life opinions regarding Miss Miley Cyrus. (Remember that time her dad hit me with a door while I was trying to get hugs from Cash Colligan?) Fortunately, Demetria Lovato exists as well as her adorable friend Selena Gomez.

"Send It On" is cute, I like it! I really do! I just think it needs a new continuity editor. (I nitpick because I care, okay?) Apparently I'm going to say spoilery things about it now, so ( here's a cut ) Please don't judge me, okay?

I'm worried about Joe Jonas, you guys. He looks really thin lately.

...I need more Disney friends.

So in between watching Wizards of Waverly Place I watched a few episodes of Wolverine and the X-Men and it was SO GOOD. Like, those writers have actually, um, read the comic? Genosha is a plot point! Jean Gray does not appear to be in it! But Kitty and Bobby and Kurt are! And the Scarlet Witch! GLEE. (You know what would be basically the awesomest ever? If they did an Excalibur cartoon. I'm just saying. (Kitty is my homie, whatever.)

Also, If people want to ask me questions for the five things meme, I'd totally do it. Ask me! Or I'll make them up and it'll be like "5 times you traveled too far for shows" "5 Most Favorite Brendon Expressions" "5 Favorite Jonas Brothers Lyrics" and you will all be so, so sorry!

So, okay, I've never been very good at multi-fannishness*. It just, when I get into something? I get OBSESSED. That's why I'm IN fandom, because there is only so much real-life flail people around me can take.

The other reason I'm in fandom is, basically, fic. I like (need?) that extenstion/analysis/revision of canon.

So when your current fandom sprains your heart and maybe something else has caught your attention recently and you think "hey, maybe I'll go looking for some fic", you know. Shit happens.

In my case Jonas Brothers shaped shit. Only not literally because lol, and also, ew.

So, yes, I am reading fic and primers and spending lots of time watching youtube videos all *chinhands*. I have a Disney/JoBros filter, which I will probably not use a whole lot because I am not a big fan of filtering, but whatever, if you want on, let me know. If you have a Disney/JoBros filter, please stick me on it.

I don't really know where this is going, guys. It could be just a thing until I can go back to reading non-AU, pre-Divorce Panic fic. It could be a stepping stone on the way to a new fandom. It could be a new fandom.

I really like these guys. They're cute and sweet and talented and ridiculous and there is so much canon it is obnoxious (except for how it's AWESOME). They have a SOFTBALL TEAM, you guys. They play games while they're on tour. There are UNIFORMS. The team name is the Road Dogs. These kids are fucking precious.

But, yeah, that being said? I read some Disco fic tonight. All either AU or Divorce fic (and how much do I love that we;re calling it that?). It's getting better, mostly. And bandom still feels like home. Maybe because you guys are still here, maybe because I know this canon so well. I don't know, I just really wanted to say that.

I totally didn't mean to turn that into fannish meta, or like a confession. Mostly I just wanted to say SHINY NEW THINGS!!!!!! and ROAD DOGS! and Bandom still feels like home. But, of course I used many more words than that, and then recapped. I'm done now though.

*I suppose in a way bandom kind of IS multi-fannish, but I mostly focus on the Disco side of things, and, anyway, *hands*

* Apparently music has decided to fuck me over this week. The Matches announced their "hiatus" today. What are the odds that my favorite band and my best friend's favorite band would split up in the same week?

* I'm not really ready to read bandom stuff yet, or look at picspams, or anything. So I've been trying to play in Disney fandom. But it is all confusing and the only fic I can find is on ff.net, which, worlds of no. I JUST WANNA CURL UP AND READ STORIES, YO. Is that really not an option in Disney fandom?

* In unsurprising went-without-saying news, I'm grumpy. And just got twitter-defriended by someone I thought I was pretty tight with.

Ugh.

So, I was going to do a "Dear Disco, Thanks for all the awesomeness I have because of you" post tonight, because I really have had so much awesomeness thrown at me because of them. But I'm way not in the mood now.

* I've been listening to a lot of RENT and Matt Caplan this week. Do what you will with that. Actualfax craziest fandom ever, whoa boy.

So clearly I lied on twitter because all I want to do is pick at the open oozing sore that is Panic's ... seperation? Thing? I guess.

In retrospect, there are a lot of clues that point to what went down. Spencer and Brendon have been the public face of Panic in an oddly conspicuous way. And weirdly exclusively friendly with Pete. It's been strange.

Zack's twitter made me sort of smile. As much as I can about this. He is clearly on team Brendon-and-Spencer, which, again, in retrospect, obvious. Also he refered to the band as "the Disco" which validated me all over the place.

I don't think most people expected a Panic split to go down these lines, or, I didn't anyway. I guess my Jon/Brendon shipper dreams have just been ground to dust. That, or this is potential for some awesome epic angsty fics. I vote for door number two.

But, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Jon and Ryan are totally the bad guys on this in my head. I take that hug back, Jon Walker. I take it back so hard. (No, that's a lie, I totally don't. That is the GRIEF TALKING!)

I wonder who will fill the respective places in the new bands and if Brent is lying around amused by all of this?

I'm seriously a little nauseous, guys. And incoherent. And a mini-picspam of Brendon (with cameos by the rest of Panic 2.0) almost made me cry just now.

In conclusion, here is a conversation I just had with girthygrizelda:

Her: "I'm no longer without furniture!"
Me: "But I'm without a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand!"

also: "A lead singer and a drummer is totally a band!"

Also, I'm still not giving up on bandom, but if someone wanted to point me in the direction of Disney fic, that'd be rad

ETA: I guess it's a good thing I think Spencer's neat-o now, otherwise this whole thing would really REALLY suck.
