Formerly bluestargirl6
Hey guys, this is the former bluestargirl6. Now
pressdbtwnpages (read: "pressed between pages")
I kind of feel weird about the fact that I've changed my name, I think I was a little more attached to my old user name than I thought. Not that I regret it, but, I don't know, it feels strange.
I'm going to try to keep things around here the same for awhile (my default icon - which I love and am never giving up even if it's less apt now, my user name will go back to "cherubic axe-slinger" once I feel like people remember who I am, my e-mail address will stay the same for awhile, etc) because I know name changes are confusing.
So, why
pressdbtwnpages?
It's a lyric from both Fall Out Boy's "XO": I left my conscience pressed/Between the pages of the Bible in the drawer
and Dashboard Confessional's "This Ruined Puzzle": I've hidden a note, it's pressed between pages that you've marked to find your way back
But mostly I feel like "pressed between pages" is a pretty good description of me, both as a bookworm and as a method of preservation. Also I just like it, dammit.
