...I did not mean to not post all weekend. I was basically online the whole time. Washington was awesome. I got cuddled and watched Band of Brothers for the third time in three months (ahahahaha, whoops) and flailed about band boys and easy_academy and went to the movies and got cuddles and saw sights in the dark and geeked out and did some touristy stuff, and it was basically perfect and exactly what I was hoping for from my mini-vacation. ♥♥♥citibyrd and murgatrude♥♥♥.

Speaking of heart-ing things, yesterday was my beloved wordsaremyfaith's birthday. We texted then, and she's getting birthday fic hopefully this week, but, here is my public I love you. Iluhoo, my Zoeybunny. You make my world a better place. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Work is lame and my family is crazy, but I'm pretty in love with my world right now. I'm moving past the friend-angst that has been plaguing me for the past few months. I still want in, and also to not be someone anyone has to work at being in with, but I have some amazing fantastic gorgeous actual genuine MUTUAL friends who like ME back and think I'M smart and funny and worth spending time with just as much as I like them. And it's wonderful.

Also in 15 minutes I get to go have delicious Mexican food and caffeine with my BFFFFFFFFFFFF who I haven't gotten to spend enough time with this month.

In conclusion: Yay my life. I feel like doing nice things for people, leave a comment and I will comment back something to make you smile.

Hi. It's Nick Jonas' 17th birthday \o/. Spencer and Brendon took pictures being retardedly in love. Then Shane twittered a picture of Brendon Urie and Adam Brody standing next to each other. It's been a pretty good day, internet-wise.

People should talk to me about Disney kids. JoBros or David Henrie who is my other favorite this week. Or Demi. Or Selena. Or Easy Academy as I am still not over Sunday's installment even a little bit and have taken to reading it every night before bed because I am a stalker freak.

Let's talk about things that have happened in the last 24 hours that are ridiculous and amazing.

I did not know how hard I ship Nick Jonas/David Henrie until I saw it, and, whoo boy I ship them hard. WOW.

And then Ryan Ross twittered and my reaction screech was something terrible to behold. (Uh, no, it was. Ask citibyrd. She even had her headphones on and was alarmed).

But, it's been a good week for other reasons as well. This morning we (me and citibyrd, that is) went and picked raspberries with some of my friends after having pizza and playing Apples to Apples with them until midnight last night. Thursday night we were supposed to go to the taping of a pilot but that fell through so we ended up watching the sun set from Santa Monica beach and then played on the pier and rode the Ferris Wheel. Wednesday we just hung around because we were super tired after the Green Day show on Tuesday, and Monday evening she got here and there was glee and fangirliness.

So, happy. Even though I could really use a full night's sleep.

Sooo, I'm going to a Jonas Brothers concert by myself tomorrow night. I don't know, okay? I just want to and am so there.

Shaping up to be a busy weekend with Spamalot on Saturday and a Pirate/Princess birthday/work thing on Sunday. It is a good thing I didn't wind up getting No Doubt tickets too! As it is, I'm gonna wind up seeing four shows in not quite three weeks. The last big concert I went to was Bamboozle at the beginning of May. Ooops.

Speaking of shows, wordsaremyfaith called me for all of Panic!'s set and then citibyrd called me during FOB ♥♥♥ It made it a little bit easier not to be hanging out with some of my most favorites.

Also I'll be in Chicago in a week. And after that I'll get a citibyrd for a week. And then I'll be broke.

I'm just saying, Nick Jonas carries around more cash on his person than I have in my bank account. Questionable decision making for the win. But I am having FUN, okay? I feel that's a fairly important justification.

How're you?

* No more citibyrd. I miss her. She is a very nice thing to have around. Now real life must return to its regularly scheduled programming.

* Spent the day in L.A. along with pretty much everyone I follow on twitter. I knew we should have
gone to RFD instead of Phillipe's for the 90 zillionth time. Or The Grove. Oh well. Instead sparly, Kate, and I hit up the L.A. Public Library (which, FYI, is at least 2x the size of the NY Public Library and equally gorgeous in a different, mission-style kinda way) and Amoeba. I spent under $10 on music which I have gotten downright cheap about. Also I need to set up my record player and go through my parents and grandparents old albums. My dad had awesome taste back in the day, he thinks he has some Leonard Cohen albums laying around someplace.

It has been GORGEOUS in So Cal for the last week or so. I *heart* my state, but am jonsing for a beach trip.

I miss having people in L.A. that I can randomly text and be all "I am coming to hang out for a couple of days and crash on your couch" at.

* Wedding madness. Dress/colors/desserts etc. are probably more fun for your own wedding. It doesn't help much that I'm sort of dealing with two weddings at once. Wake me up when June is over, please.

* How is this year Saved by the Bell's 20th anniversary? I feel old all over again.

* Season 3 of the BBC's Robin Hood has started! *glees*

I've opened up a "post entry" page every day this week, but whatever I have to say comes out emo or whiny or pissed off or some other emotion I don't really mean to be having.

I'm confused about fangirl-related social stuff and I'm not really sure how to handle it. I don't *think* I'm having drama, but maybe I am. If you're having drama with me, you should probably email me at bluestargirl at gmail dot com so that we can talk.

Also I'm losing my job next Friday. It was only a temporary position, but the circumstances of my leaving it, and the fact that I have to start training a new girl tomorrow, ultimately leave me feeling hurt and pissed off and betrayed.

AND I have to be finding a new job, and, just, times are shitty, you know? And I CAN'T afford to go on like this.

So mostly I'm various shades of a mess when I let myself think about things, and really happy and good when I don't. siren_mage, citibyrd, and Panic at the Disco are currently my very most favorite people. They are all unacceptably far away.

...See? Whiny AND emo. I'm pretty sure this is not how I'm actually feeling. Maybe.

I've seen strange shows this week.

Today (after berry picking stuff) citibyrd and I went out to Fullerton to catch the last two(ish) sets of an all-day festival at which The Used played an acoustic set.

I apparently know three Used songs.

But! It was still awesome! Bert was charming and loved most things! Dan and Jepha came to watch the show! Dan waved and was attention whore-y, Jepha hid! Quinn was hot! Why did nobody tell me Quinn is hot?!

I can't really recap the show on account of how I only know three Used songs, but despite that, and tall people insisting on standing in front of me no matter where I stood, and ridiculous ticketmaster fees, I had a really good time!

Survived the family portion of vacation and now I have a citibyrd! Or she has a me!

...I really thought I had more to say than that, but Addie is being distratcting with her "headbanging" to The Academy Is... We are both being totally stupid. Yay fangirls \o/.

ANYWAY, I am now semi-internet reachable and will be back for reals Wednesday evening. I will start to attempt to catch up on my flist then. Link me to anything super awesome and amazing, please.

I haven't posted in longer than I'd realized. Whoops.

So Monday afternoon I passed out at work and landed myself in the E.R. It was fun. No, actually. Except for the feeling shitty, it was. I find hospitals and medical procedure fascinating. In retrospect, I kind of wish I'd gone to nursing school or something. Only I'm far too lazy.
Anyway, we think it was just a blip with a new medication, or possibly a combination of that and other things, and I'm fine and yeah. We are not worried or scared or anything.

Of course, it was my first day of this new/old job and I got an off work order for Tues, so today was the first day I actually worked my scheduled hours. Go me. Working tomorrow too and then leaving for Washington for a week and a half. I get to have a citibyrd for some of that time! And the rest of it looks to be full of berry picking and whale watching and hanging out with my family (read: playing Scrabble) and joy and delight shall be had.

This means that after Thurs. I will only be available by cell (you have the number, feel free to use it) until 7/23.
